with warm bean bags, essential oils, soothing

music, and Reiki touch to transport you to a place of deep relaxation and transcendence.  Crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, Koshi chimes, and voice are incorporated into specialty classes to allow even deeper healing.


We live in a society where non-stop going going going is valued and encouraged.  But our bodies, spirits, and minds need a time set aside to "consciously" rest.  In this place, hovering between worlds, your nervous systems balance, your relaxation response kicks in, and your brain waves slow down.

But, mostly, you just feel like you've come to heaven on earth!

What is Shakti Bliss Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra or “deep Yogic Sleep” creates stillness within us. It is an ancient Yogic

practice that research confirms can reduce stress, increase immune function,

improve digestion and overall health. 

We simply lie down and listen. Effortlessly, we drop into a deep state of relaxation

and rest. Participants move from thinking and doing to feeling and being.

Science has discovered just 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra = 3 hours of REM sleep!


Shakti Bliss Yoga Nidra focuses on elements of the Divine Mother (Shakti):

     * Participants are cradled in a safe Yoga Nidra cocoon with nurturing elements

        such as Reiki, essential oils, warm bean bags,and a loving voice.

     * The senses are awakened so that students FEEL and embody the experience.

     * Free of tension, resistance, and thought, we gently float into bliss.

Shakti Bliss Yoga Nidra® allows the nervous system to switch from sympathetic mode (flight or fight) to parasympathetic mode (rest and digest).  In this space, the body taps into its inherent ability to heal.  Also, yoga nidra balances the left and right sides of the brain.  Our brain waves go from beta to alpha to eventually theta where our innate vitality, intuition, and creativity can surface.
